About Us

Kirkstall Lane Medical Centre is an NHS general practice which strives to provide high quality care to our patients with a commitment to traditional values and modern, effective clinical services.

The practice is run by four GP partners who work with a team of additional doctors, nurses and support and management staff. In addition, we benefit from an extended NHS primary care team including district nurses, community matrons, midwife, health visitor, physiotherapist, mental health specialists and drugs counsellor.

We are working closely with other local NHS services including Leeds Primary Care Trust and other neighbouring practices to develop an expanded range of primary care services close to where patients live.

We provide disabled access and facilities and have been accredited as a "Young Person Friendly Practice".

Opening Hours

Monday 8am - 8pm
Tuesday - Friday 8am - 6.30pm
Late surgeries are held on Mondays until 8pm for people who cannot make daytime appointments
(Closed on bank holidays)

Out of Hours Service

When the practice is closed, Leeds NHS Primary Care Trust provides an on-call service for medical problems which cannot wait until the next working day. You can phone the West Yorkshire Urgent Care service direct on 0345 605 9999. You will then be able to obtain appropriate medical advice by phone, at the Primary Care Centre at Lexicon House or at a home visit where medically necessary.
